Our three-hour ‘How to come up with short story ideas’ workshop will show you just how to come up with plot ideas for your creative writing.

Led by our tutor and published author Linda Lewis. Having written almost a thousand stories she needs to come up with lots of ideas for plots. Luckily, this comes easily to her. In this workshop, she will show you just some of the ways she uses to find ideas. You will leave with ideas for plots plus various methods you can use to find all the plots you will ever need.

    Linda is a short story specialist and author of several books including The Writer’s Treasury of Ideas and Finding Ideas. She is one of the UK’s most successful short story authors having sold over 1,000 stories, mainly to women’s magazines such as The People’s Friend, as well as overseas in Australia and Sweden. Linda was previously a tutor for the Writers Bureau and the National Association of Writers Group and taught courses at Swanwick Writer’s Summer School between 2011 and 2016.
