Wrestling Rhymes. Writing Poetry

Poetry has the reputation of being aloof and unattainable but Nej Steer believes that the art form is a misunderstood creature that anyone can become familiar with and master.

With this series of workshop-based lessons, you will be introduced to poetry forms that you may have encountered before, and some that you may have not. In the six weeks of this course, you will be given the tools to take on even the most complicated poetry form, which will provide you with a varied portfolio of poetry that you can be proud of. At the close of the course, you will also be invited to submit a number of these pieces to an exclusive anthology featuring work from Creative Culture Academy students.

This course is suitable for anyone, whether you are a veteran poet who wishes to return to basics and learn more depth about the art, or if you’ve never taken on the challenge of poetry, this course will help you achieve your poetic dreams.

This course runs on Thursdays from April 29th to June 3rd. Weekly sessions will be 7pm until 9pm GMT. This course is non-refundable.
